Monitoring for fuel and hazmat handling areas
Operators with classified areas such as fuel terminals, bulk-liquid transfer points or hazmat storage can add BLE edge options for asset identification, proximity/location and selected condition or movement sensing through a compatible ip³Things tracker or gateway.
This pathway applies only to reviewed classified areas, not to general warehousing or last-mile operations. Site classification and the exact configuration are confirmed during solution design.

Certified temperature records for refrigerated freight and cold storage
An EN12830-certified BLE temperature-sensor variant records temperature inside reefer trailers, delivery vans, cold rooms and transfer points. A compatible BLE-capable ip³Things tracker carries the record while the asset moves; a BLE-enabled ip³Gateway covers fixed storage. The certified variant provides a 0.5 °C accuracy class from -20 °C to +60 °C, ISO 17025 laboratory calibration, an IP67 enclosure and internal temperature history of up to 345 days.
These claims apply to the EN12830 variant only. EN12830 is a cold-chain temperature-recording standard, not a hazardous-area certification.
