Certified temperature recording for vaccines, biologics and temperature-sensitive stock
An EN12830-certified BLE temperature-sensor variant records storage temperature at refrigerators, freezers and controlled rooms, reporting through a BLE-enabled ip³Gateway on site or a compatible BLE-capable ip³Things tracker in transport. The certified variant provides a 0.5 °C accuracy class from -20 °C to +60 °C, ISO 17025 laboratory calibration, an IP67 enclosure and internal temperature history of up to 345 days.
This is product-storage temperature monitoring. It is not a clinical, diagnostic or medical-device function, and EN12830 is not a hazardous-area certification.
Common challenges in Healthcare
Lost mobile assets
Wheelchairs, infusion pumps and crash carts go missing across floors.
Cold-chain risk
Refrigerator and freezer temperature excursions threaten vaccines and biologics.
Care-team coordination
Pagers and shared phones leak PHI and slow response.
How ip³Things solves it
